About me:
I
received my Ph.D. degree from the Department of Chemistry in Case Western
Reserve University in 2005, and then spent near 6 years in Lawrence Berkeley
National Laboratory and University of California, Berkeley. In 2011, I joined
University of Missouri - Kansas City, Chemistry Department as an Assistant
Professor.
My research interests include materials development and applications.
Materials
development includes nanomaterials synthesis, characterization,
and modifications. Applications include energy and environmental:
photocatalytic reactions, photocatalytic hydrogen generation, electrochemical
hydrogen generation catalysts, electrolyzers, solar
cells, lithium-ion rechargeable batteries, and clean building technologies.
Applications also include biomedical, and future cancer detection technologies.
