The "Everygirls" series
Goldsmith Pub.

Notes

Titles

A depression-era effort by Goldsmith to breathe new life into some older, individually published, girls' books by repackaging them as a series.

Assembled in the "Everygirl" series are books of genuine distinction and exceptional merit. Caroline E. Jacobs, Shirley Watkins and Blanche Elizabeth Wade are writers of the first order, and these five books are representative of their finest efforts. Each is a separate story and each is a real gem. -- Goldsmith advertisement from The S.W.F. Club (Thanks, Thomas Duffy!)

Goldsmith Pub. Co, 1912, 1931(?) -- Dustjacket caption: "The S. W. F. Club is the brightest, cheeriest, most wholesome of stories which tells of the doings of three sisters-Pauline, the practical, Hilary, the delicate, and Patience, the irrepressible-who live in the little town of Winton. As these girls cannot afford to go away for their summer vacation, they form the S. W. F. Club-Seeing Winton First-and with their friends manage to have the dandiest times in and around their home town, which they find is not so pokey as they had at first supposed. The natural and delightful way in which Miss Jacobs tells of their jolly doings is bound to charm and hold everyone who picks up the book."
