THE MYSTERY STORIES FOR BOYS SERIES
By Roy Judson Snell

Notes

Titles

"Calling these "Mystery Stories" is a bit deceptive, because there is a lot more high adventure that your typical Hardy Boys story.  Leaping from one ice floe to the next to cross the Bearing Sea on foot!  Lots of high tech wonders like aero-planes, submarines and radio!  Great stuff!
Snell was an amazing man; he actually traveled to the Arctic regions he wrote about.  The few of these stories that I've read so far have a specificity, a level of detailed description, that makes them seem very real, a bonus you don't always get in juvenile fiction.
