Publishing info may be incomplete,
and I might not have all the books listed.
Vickie Barr is Nancy Drew with a career. Except for the first book, in which Vickie goes through stewardess training, the fact that Vickie is a stewardess comes into play mainly as a tool to explain her ability to fly off to far-flung locations at the drop of a hat -- most of the action takes place during Vickie's vacations and off-time. For folks my age, the descriptions of commercial flight will induce incredulity. Large leather seats (in *regular* class!) three course dinners (with complimentary mints and cigarettes) served with real sterling silverware; pillows, blankets and magazines everywhere, and flight attendants who had to read ten magazines a week so that they could make informed conversation with the passengers.
